Why read the Bible?
Acts 17:11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
2 Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Tim 4:2 Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction.
1 Tim 4:13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
Mat 11:29 - 30  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Gal 1:11  I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up.
John 8:31-32 "If you continue in my word . . . you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."
Reading the Bible is the only way to build your relationship with Jesus.
